NSO Staff Delivers Meals for Thanksgiving Holiday

For the ninth year in a row, the Norfolk Sheriff’s Office is partnering with local businessman Matt Hales and PortAlliance Federal Credit Union to deliver Thanksgiving turkey meals to some of Norfolk’s most vulnerable citizens this holiday season.
Our staff will provide the manpower to deliver the turkeys throughout the city on Friday, November, 18th. They will gather at The Restaurant Depot (5112 Virginia Beach Blvd.) beginning at 9 a.m. Once everything is packaged up, approximately 30 NSO employees will deliver the meals.
“This is one of our proudest times of the year,” Sheriff Bob McCabe said. “Not only are these partnerships incredibly generous, but making sure that as many people as possible can have a Thanksgiving meal is so rewarding,” he added.
