The Norfolk Sheriff's Office is now accepting applications for Deputy Sheriff positions. New employees are initially assigned to the jail. Most employees work 12-hour, rotating shifts (including days, nights, weekends and holidays) approximately 14 days per month. The Maintenance Mechanic Performs maintenance to buildings and grounds. Performs repairs and preventative maintenance to equipment. Performs interior building maintenance. Performs other duties as needed.
